Kasaragod District Co-operative Hospital is the second unit of E.K.Nayanar Memorial Co-operative .Hospital . It is situated at Chengala, Kasaragod, Kerala State,India. It is inaugurated by CPI(M) General  Secretary  Sri.Prakash Karat. Society was registered in the year 1988 , the first unit of  the society hospital started work on 31st March 1990  at Kumbala. It was inaugurated by the Chief Minister late Mr. E.K.Nayanar . At present the hospital is situated on National Highway Chengala, Kasaragod, Kerala. We also offer the medical help to the poor workers in the society. There is an insurance scheme in which 44 rupees is to be paid yearly and if the person meets any accident he will be given    treatment of  Rs.10,000 /-. If passes away his family will be paid Rs.50,000 as compensation.
            The success work of the hospital at Kumbala has raised the trust in people. In the year 1998 the hospital was registered under the leadership of Mr. T.V.Gangadharan, Later  Presidential honor was given to Mr.P.Raghavan Ex. M.L.A. There are 1050 members in this scheme and 13  members in management.

OUR VISION

    a)    To open a Health Hospital Center with all modern facilities and equipments in the

          medicinal field in the Kasaragod Town.

    b)    To have X-ray center, medical shop and research institute etc.

    c)    For the development of above centers their branches are to be started in the

         appropriate place in Kasaragod.

    d)    To have Mobile Hospitals.

    e)    To take precautions over diseases and initiate them.

    f)    To distribute books related to medicine, magazines, news papers etc. with the help of

          agency.

    g)    To open a way to Ayurvedic Treatment.

    h)    To train the employees at hospitals, dispensary, laboratory and X-ray Centers.

    i)    To buy an Ambulance to help the sick and dead people.

    j)    For the working of the hospital collect the amount from the Government, Co-operative

          Banks,Other institutes, from people as share or debt or as grant from other countries

          etc.
